Our Story and Founder The company was founded by Joakim Kromnér, a filmmaker, photographer, and gaffer with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Joakim’s journey began in the world of commercial film production, where he quickly became known for his technical skills and his calm, solution-oriented approach on set. Over the years, he has held many different roles in production — working as a Production Manager, Producer, and Executive Producer at agencies and production companies such as DDB Nord, StyleWar, Stink.tv, and Smuggler US. He has also built strong expertise in post-production, working as a Post Producer at Filmtecknarna, Swiss, DDB Film, and Creative Outpost. This broad experience gives him a unique ability to see the bigger picture and anticipate what a production needs long before problems arise. Whether handling budgets and schedules as a producer, supervising complex visual work in post, or leading a technical crew on set, Joakim has always combined technical insight with a producer’s perspective — ensuring that creative ambitions are met within the realities of production. These positions gave him a deep understanding of the entire production chain, from creative development and client management to the technical and logistical execution that ensures a project’s success. But what truly sets him apart is his philosophy: everything can be solved. Film production is full of unexpected challenges — weather, logistics, equipment, timing — and Joakim has built his career on being the person who finds solutions instead of excuses. In 2016, Joakim shifted his focus more toward technical production and lighting, specializing as a gaffer and technical producer. This role allows him to combine his hands-on knowledge of gear and setup with his eye for storytelling and production flow. We include transport, setup, and wrap in the package, so the only time our clients need to track is when we’re on set. At the end of every shoot, we create at least two copies of the footage. Clients can borrow a drive for a week at no extra cost, or we can copy directly to their own SSDs. We also archive material on our servers for at least a year, adding an extra layer of safety.
