Paul Rich’s photography career began at the early age of 13 when he began working as an assistant for a wedding and Bar Mitzvah photographer in the Boston area. Paul pursued photography in high school and received a degree in Photography from Bard College in NY in 1998. He then fit as many of his belongings as would fit in his car and drove cross-country in pursuit of adventure. He arrived in Portland, OR and began assisting a prominent commercial photographer in town photographing food dishes for local restaurants, hotel interiors, and lifestyle photo shoots.

As a real estate photographer, Paul Rich serves over 45 realtors and property management companies. He provides real estate photography, including a wide range of additional services such as specialty editing and virtual staging, as well as 360 virtual tours, 3D Matterport scans, and 2D and 3D floor plans. Paul is very well known for providing quality work in a very timely manner. Real estate photos are presented to clients in less than 24 hours from the photo shoot and the reviews he receives from clients are always positive. He has been named one of the top 10 real estate photographers in Portland, OR.

Paul Rich Studio also photographs a large number of events each year. Paul is the primary in-house photographer for Ilani Casino where he photographs music concerts, various social events such as multi-day Brewfests, BBQ Fests, speaking engagements, food dishes, and a variety of content for the casino’s social media department. He also photographs bar and bat mitzvahs, large multi-day conferences, groundbreaking and ribbon cutting events, and fundraisers and auctions for non-profit organizations.

As a portrait photographer, Paul Rich photographs maternity sessions, newborn babies, high school seniors, family portraits, and corporate headshots. He also has worked with a number of surrogates and intended parents who have flown in from all over the world to welcome their newborn baby through surrogacy.
