Starting in the mid 1970’s I can say the industry is a very different place from what it was way back then. We have access to more varied products to create our art, And at a touch of a button I can see what designers are creating from Hamilton to Holland.
Being raised in a family of professionals always striving for excellence and that work ethic was developed where everyday is more of an adventure than just a job. Add to this our acquired hobbies and interests from gardening, entertaining, antiquing, floral and horticultural history and a serious love of nature all attributes to the designs I create today.
Being bestowed the privilege everyday creating works of floral art for wonderful clients where I get to express feelings, sentiments, desires, and love when words are either difficult to come by or these jewels of nature can convey an entire conversations in their horticulture beauty.
If I was asked which flower or flowers are my favorite, I’m afraid id have to disappoint and say all flowers are my favorites. I guess it depends on the occasion or client needs that will dictate what combination of premium flowers I will reach for. Being lucky we are in a age where anything I desire is at a fingers touch in our internet age and ordering the very best the industry can provide.
