Those services include a range of Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer activities based around music publishing and licensing.

We maintain a growing catalogue of music titles (Production Music) for licensing purposes, including Public Domain Classical and a wide range of Traditional music tracks and arrangements. Plus there is an ever increasing range of original tracks covering multiple genres. All are suitable as score synchonisation or background mood music with Film, Television, Games, Commercials, Videos and Corporate presentations. The existing catalogue is available through a number of standard licensing channels, and we can customise these and undertake bespoke music composition and arrangements as required. A subset of these titles have been released as a range of themed Music Albums from our own Record Label.

We also manage a catalogue of Sheet Music scores, which are available to download from a number of commercial online sheet music stores. These include many examples of copyright songs and instrumental tracks, as well as Public Domain and original tracks. We can also arrange, adapt and customise any of these to meet your requirements. And additionally we can undertake custom scoring and transcription activities.

We manage the “mfiles” website at www.mfiles.co.uk which is devoted to classical, traditional and film music. This is a well-established site started in 2000 which is known and loved by music lovers across the globe, and has also built a following among educational organisations with a number of schools using various works in their music lessons. The website’s content includes articles on a diverse range of music topics, biographies of classical and film composers, reviews of film scores, concerts and albums, plus a large collection of sheet music, midi and audio files. In most cases the music content is provided for free download, with the site supported by advertising and other commercial services.

In addition to the consumer-facing mfiles site, the Music Files core website is at www.music-files.com, which lists our services and presents a selection of items from our various catalogues to illustrate the breadth of our services, and provide a range of products which are available off-the-shelf.
