Phil is a classical trumpet player with an accomplished pedigree. He was trained at the prestigious Eastman School of Music.

After Eastman Phil won a position trumpet in the United States Air Force band program He served in the USAF for four years and then was appointed to a one year position as Associate Principal in the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. In 2001, in a leap of faith and on the strength of an old friendship, Phil moved to Texas to teach and freelance which he continues to do.

Phil will tell you that as a teacher, he is the luckiest kind. He often has SEVEN years to work with his students. Time is the most powerful of teachers and it is on their side.

Understanding excellence and the path towards it, Phil’s students experience success at all levels. His high school students have attended Tanglewood Institute and Idyllwild Arts Academy summer program and placed as high as the finals in the National Trumpet Competition. Beyond high school they have been accepted as trumpet players into Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, USC, Baylor, University of Miami, New England Conservatory, Peabody, Arizona State, UT, and others.
While maintaining his full time teaching, Phil for almost a decade owned a very successful high end wedding photography business in Dallas, Texas. Following the same blueprint for learning, working and improving he built it from the ground up following the same formula he teaches to his students as musicians.

Throughout all of this Phil has used Apple products in every aspect of his work and personal life. This Apple story began with his family’s Apple II+ they owned when he was a boy. It continued with his Apple Newton and standing in line for the first iPhone on launch day. Every image delivered to a photography client was edited and delivered using Apple products.

The Apple Watch is especially important to Phil. He is a disciplined fitness and health addict and uses the watch’s metrics on a daily basis to improve his life and the lives of his loved ones. Those most important to him are his beautiful wife and two amazing school aged children.

As a tool Apple Watch is incredible, as a fashion accessory it is a luxury. Having an abundance of watch bands of any possible style allows you to adapt Apple Watch to any setting or occasion.
Phil is a bit of an Apple Watch band addict and this store was born from the intersection of a life spent acquiring various skills though passionate learning and work as well as a desire to make a convenient store for Apple Watch lovers like himself to find a great selection of bands at one excellent store.
