Beal Law Firm began in 1992 when the Founder, Eric D. Beal, left the large firms of Dallas to focus on representing real people with real problems. Over the last three decades, we have represented thousands of people in all manner of Texas Family Law.

BLF has represented clients from as far away as China, Hawaii, the Middle East, and Upstate New York, to name a few. In addition, we have handled cases all over the State of Texas and have multiple offices to assist our clients.

We have experience handling matters for everyone from stay-at-home moms to professional athletes, physicians, and C-Level Executives. We know how to design possession schedules for unique situations, such as those encountered by airline pilots and crew, firefighters, police officers, and athletes.

Our Team has handled everything from complex custody jury trials to bench trials – hundreds of them – to mediations and simple uncontested prove-ups. We know how to get to the finish line using Negotiation leading to Nonrevocable Settlement Agreements, Rule 11-based settlements, and Agreed Final SAPCR Orders and Decrees.

We have helped those with tens of millions in assets and those with virtually nothing.

Beal Law Firm is one of the oldest and largest Southlake, Texas, based law practices that handles Exclusively Family Law. The firm currently has two Texas Family Law Experts, a title only those attorneys who are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization can claim.

Mr. Beal has practiced for over 32 years. He is a former U.S. Marine Corps Legal Officer and graduated from Baylor Law School as the Highest Ranking Student in the School of Law, where he won dozens of awards. He has worked in the law since the Fall of 1984 and is a published family law author and speaker.

More recently, Mr. Beal has been named to the Best Lawyers in America for 2022 and 2023, Texas Super Lawyers for 2022 and 2023, and is a multiple recipient of the Platinum Client Champion Award given out by Martindale Hubbell.
