Clothing Accessory Google Profiles Turn Fewer Than Half as Many Views Into Calls or Clicks
About 6% of views on the typical clothing accessories business's Google profile lead to a call, direction request or website click, against 14% for the typical business in Diib's data.
If you sell clothing accessories, people who find your Google profile are less likely than most to take the next step. Since the top quarter of profiles in this industry convert at three times the typical rate, the profile itself is worth tightening up.
When someone finds your Google Business Profile, they can call you, ask for directions, or click through to your website. Google counts each of those as an action. Clothing accessory businesses get noticeably fewer actions for every view.
The measure here is the action rate: calls, direction requests and website clicks combined, divided by the number of times the profile was viewed over a 30-day period.
What the data shows
- Lower action rate. Across 242 clothing accessories businesses with a connected Google profile, the median action rate was 6%. Across roughly 20,200 profiles in all industries, it was 14%.
- Fewer views too. The typical clothing accessories profile was viewed 174 times in 30 days, against 263 overall.
- A wide spread. A quarter of these profiles had an action rate of about 1% or less, while the top quarter reached 19% or more.
What this does and doesn’t tell you
These figures are aggregated from Google Business Profiles connected to Diib, for a 30-day period ending in late October 2026. The data doesn’t show why viewers didn’t act. Many accessory sellers are mainly online stores, so shoppers may go straight to the shop rather than through the profile, and the data can’t separate those cases.
What it does show is that the typical profile in this industry turns fewer views into contact than most businesses do, and that the best-performing profiles do several times better than the typical one.
