We only do composition shingles, we don’t offer metal or any other roofing services, we are just masters at replacing shingles on houses. My Dad started this business in 1983 long before there were nail guns. He himself was hand nailing shingles with a hammer (way more painstaking than with a nail gun) and has always done things the right way and treated people with respect. 39 years in business without knocking doors, chasing storms, doing any kind of advertising, not even yard signs we have stayed busy through word of mouth and referrals. My dad is retiring in August so I am trying to make getting online leads a part of our business moving forward because word of mouth is less and less reliable as time goes on. What sets us apart is we are local, family owned, and when we replace a roof there is ALWAYS either myself or my dad on the job site watching every step. 90% of companies around here don’t have the same quality control. They just get the job, subcontract it, and don’t do any work themselves they show up at the end of the day to collect a check. Both my dad and myself have done the work for years in the Texas heat replacing thousands of roofs and are professionals at installing weather and wind proof roofing systems. People don’t choose us because we’re cheap, they choose us because they know we will do it correctly and since the Wilsons have been in the Denton area since 1855 they know we ain’t leaving. We offer repairs, roof inspections, gutter replacement and also do new construction. It’s been me, my mom, and my dad running this business since 2013 and my mom has a french bulldog named Rowdy whose often on the job site as well. We have donated roofs to widows, people in really bad financial situations, and we have comped small leak repairs for older residents.
