My process is straightforward. When you hire me, I start by interviewing you and anyone who can help tell your story. I also do any necessary research on the project. Then I start to write, and I submit material to you on a regular basis (usually weekly). You tell me what you like and what you don’t like, and I learn from that. This allows me to give your thoughts and experiences a voice, draft a page-turning manuscript, and share your story with the world.

I work closely with my clients (your collaboration is vital), and I get to know your story as well as you do. I don’t farm out any of my work. I do all the interviews and research myself. I write every word in every manuscript. When you call or email me, I am the person who picks up the phone or writes back.

Ghostwriting/collaboration: I will create a vibrant, dynamic book for you, regardless of the subject matter. I have written fiction, historical fiction, and memoirs, as well as scholarly legal articles and business books.

The finished manuscript will be professionally done and ready for publication. We work closely together reviewing the material to ensure the final manuscript reflects your vision in all aspects, including tone and structure.

Screenplays: If you have an idea for a script, I can help you turn your idea into a screenplay that is ready for submission to any agency or production company in the world. The script will be formatted to industry standards and will have appropriate beats and character development.

Memoirs/Biographies: Do you want to leave a written legacy of the road you traveled and the challenges you overcame? Have people told you that you should write a book about your incredible life story? Hire me as your biography/memoir writer and we will weave your experiences into a great read.

Company legacies: You and I can work together to create a book that documents the challenges and triumphs of building a successful company so that your story is not lost. Part of our focus will be to honor the people who played a significant role in helping you grow your business.

I was an attorney and sports agent for ten years before becoming a full-time writer. I have a BA in English as well as a Juris Doctor and served as the Managing Editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review. I have written, published, and/or edited articles and books on numerous subjects and have delivered award-winning service to clients around the globe.
