Victoria House Fireplaces has 3 staff members (at current) and all are highly experienced with giving the customers not only what they want, but also create ideas for them and show them different products to ignite their imagination. With all 3 staff being related, we are a literal FAMILY business. The owner (Ian) is still with the company, His son has been with the company for 8 years, and other member of staff has been at the company for around 28 years. We have fitters that work with us that have been fitting our goods 20 years+ (including the owners other son, who was with the showroom for over 13 years, before going into the fitting side). All fitters are HETAS and/or Gas Safe registered, we make sure the job is done to the highest quality.

What sets us out from the rest? We do repairs on electric fires (especially Dimplex Optimyst fires), which we do in house. We are the only company that offers this service in this area and the surrounding areas! We also service stoves (perishable parts like rope seal, rope glue etc), again one of the only showrooms to offer this, as well as offering a service to repair gas fires/stoves (not in house).

Another huge advantage Victoria House Fireplaces has over it’s competitors, is that we are the ONLY showroom that are inspectors of solid fuel installations for Castle Point Council (basically, if someone complains to the council about their installation for whatever reason, the council call us and we go and rectify the issues.

We sell a range of goods, from gas/electric/solid fuel stoves, limestone/marble fireplaces, gas/electric fires, wooden surrounds, gas/electric suites in marble, limestone or wood as well as cast inserts, hearths & back hearths, liner kits (for stoves), companion sets, frets and much more! Our fitters are also unique, as they have a wide variety of talents, like media wall building, chimney rebuilding, plastering, whatever the customer requires!
We have over 150 displays (one of the biggest in Essex), we have a something for everyone, as every customer has different tastes & requirements, we try to ensure that every taste, requirements and budgets can be catered for.
We work with many manufacturers, with some across different countries, we try to supply the best material possible, so the customer gets the best and for good value. We also have very good relationships with these companies and their reps, which makes it much easier to fix any issue that might arise.

We are always looking at new products, and making them a part of the business to keep up with the latest trends and ensure we are offering the best products out there… Always changing around our showrooms to cater for the next big trend. We have 4 separate showroom areas to ensure we always have the space to adapt.

Lastly, we also have built our own website (with the help and guidance from OSAM) and are always working/adding to it, to have the biggest and best selection products possible!
