Ugly Soap Company

It’s just like mom always said – it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Blah, blah, blah.

But seriously, she was right.

At Ugly Soap Company, we make the best natural soap bars that are filled (quite literally) to the brim with all-natural ingredients that’ll treat you better than any date you’ve ever had.

Mother Earth is pleased as punch, too, because those natural ingredients are sourced locally whenever we possibly can, and we make our soap by hand in super small batches.

In fact, our soaps are so full of dreamy ingredients like colloidal oatmeal and organic avocado oil that there’s no room for the shortcut synthetics and harmful chemicals that make other products so ridiculously nice to look at. But you will be – ridiculously nice to look at, that is – because you use Ugly Soap.

Once upon a time…

The skincare industry was a dark, dark place. Swimming in gross hidden chemicals and harmful practices that are no bueno. It was not pretty.

I spent ages dreaming about an artisan soap company, but I was scared. Not of “taking the leap” or “failing”. No, literally, afraid of making soap. The lye scene in Fight Club scared the bejeezus out of me.

Then, in my (*gasp*) late 30s, I got acne for the first time in my life. The HORROR. I had to make a natural way to fix the problem. So, I told my fear to STFU.

After many, many failed attempts, I nailed it. Poof, my acne was gone! And ooh la la, I fell in love…with the ugliest soap ever. Since then, I’ve become a soap-slingin’ badass, clearing pores and soothing skin left and right. Our ingredients and small batch production make soap that’s beautiful on the inside, so that you can be beautiful on the outside.

Change your soap, change your life, change the world. Or something like that.
