After pursuing further education in India, he returned to Nepal and worked as a naturalist in Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, contributing to bird conservation, tiger conservation, and community development initiatives. His long-standing commitment to social impact is further reflected through SWAN Nepal, a non-governmental organization he founded over 30 years ago to support healthcare, education, and women’s empowerment in rural communities.
