Todd’s Lawn Maintenance

Todd’s Lawn Maintenance is a lawn care and seasonal cleanup business serving Sanford, Midland and the surrounding Michigan communities, including lakefront properties on Sanford Lake. From weekly and biweekly mowing in summer to leaf cleanups in fall and snow removal in winter, Todd keeps yards looking sharp year-round.

The business grew out of a long-held dream of being his own boss. Todd spent more than 20 years working at a car wash, where he learned the value of showing up every day and taking pride in leaving things looking their best. When COVID put his plans on hold, he used the time to study lawn care, invest in professional-grade equipment and practice until he was confident in every cut, edge and cleanup, officially launching the business in April 2021.

Mowing is the heart of the business. Todd runs a Scag V-Ride II zero-turn mower with a bagging system for clean, striped lawns, and every visit includes edging and trimming, with driveways and sidewalks edged too. Flower bed cleaning and hedging round out regular maintenance. Fall cleanups clear leaves away from the house and trees, with curbside placement in the city, haul-away for country properties or a lower-cost mulching option, and spring cleanups get yards ready for the growing season. In winter, Todd clears driveways and walkways with a snowblower and shovels, focusing on the detailed hand work plows often miss, and removes branches and debris after storms.
