Our fabrics

Tencel

Tencel is a natural, man-made fibre that is a revolutionary development in environmentally sustainable textiles. It is made from cellulose wood pulp harvested from eucalyptus trees. Tencel uses 80% less water than cotton in production.

Due to the smooth structure of the tencel fibre, it feels particularly soft against the skin, is lightweight and breathable. Our tencel comes from Lenzing.

Bamboo

Bamboo fabric is a natural textile made from the pulp of the bamboo grass.

It is a highly sustainable resource that is naturally pest resistant, and requires very little water to grow. It grows more rapidly than trees and will regenerate one and a half times its previous size.

This eco-friendly fibre is not only supremely soft to the touch, but is also hypoallergenic.

Linen

One of the worlds oldest fabrics, linen is woven from the fibres of the flax plant and is a completely natural resource.

The production of linen fabric uses less water and energy than cotton and synthetic fibres.

Flax yarns and fabrics increase in strength on wetting, resulting in a fabric that withstands being washed, resulting in greater longevity.

Organic Cotton

Our superior standard GOTS certified Organic Cotton is knitted in Australia.

This certification guarantees compliance to Organic standards and ensures a respect for the social and economic rights of the farmers and producers.

The cotton is grown using methods that have a low environmental impact, and without the use of harmful chemicals. In using Organic cotton we are supporting sustainable farming practices and reducing contamination of the Earth

Merino Wool

Merino is an active fibre that reacts to changes in body temperature.

It has natural elasticity, so garments move with the body and return to their original state.

Completely natural and bio degradable, wool is the most renewable and recyclable fibre available in the apparel industry. Our Merino is sourced from New Zealand.

Silk

Silk is the strongest of natural fibres, a breathable fabric and a natural temperature regulator.

It has warmth without weight, helps the body to expel excess heat in warm weather and is also hypoallergenic.
