The cutting-edge technology they have integrated allows their clients to skip the trip to the tailor by getting measured from their smartphone, with just 2 pictures they can now get measured in less than 1 minute in the comfort and privacy of their home. The 2 pictures (one from the front, one from the side capture over 70 body measurements using state-of-the-art machine learning and 3D matching, proprietary statistical modeling and computer vision and deep learning. The patented technology has been derived from 16 million (and counting) data points and 30+ full-time R&D experts. Future improvements will include downloadable avatars into their platform to allow their clients to visualize their body profiles and create 3D modeled outfits in their virtual dressing room online.

To create the perfect fit profile, The Brotherhood of Style creates an initial sample garment for their clients to try on at home before the finished product is made. Tailoring and alterations to finished garments is a hassle, time-consuming process that diminishes the quality and lifespan of garments.

The initial sample garments are made from wool or a blended fabric and are just a shell of a jacket and pair of pants. The jacket’s intention and purpose is to make sure the shoulders, chest, stomach and arms are all properly proportioned and the fit is ideal for the specific body type. The pants are straightforward, but we want to make sure the crotch / U-rise fits right, the length is good and they have the right shape or taper.

If adjustments to the garments are required the measurements and patterns are updated and saved on file. Once an actual garment is made many of these adjustments are difficult for even the most skilled of tailors and are usually very costly and diminished the lifespan of a garment. This has drastically improved client experiences and has eliminated 99% of alterations, saving their clients time, effort and out-of-pocket money.

Feeling the fabrics in person is a very special and important part of the custom-made bespoke experience. Seeing fabrics on screen can be very different from the actual product. Alongside the initial try-on garment, The Brotherhood of Style provides a fabric kit with a selection of swatch samples that are either hand-picked by a Private Stylist or chosen by their clients on the website. This experience allows their clients to make their final decision based on actual fabrics seen in person, not from an online screen.

With hundreds of options to choose from in a wide variety of fabric types, colors and styles there is no shortage of selections available.

They know from experience that once a client becomes a customer and is happy with the product’s fit, quality and service they become a customer for life. Loyalty at its core.

On the flip side, it can also be difficult to onboard a new client and take them away from their current menswear provider.

The Brotherhood of Style makes it easy to become a customer and provides many avenues to choose from and reduces the friction in the process. Clients can get started with a nominal $50 deposit that is reimbursed off the next order, the deposit includes their personalized fabric kit with a selection of swatches to look and feel in person. A $250 deposit takes it one step further and includes the fabric kit, initial sample garment and first white shirt. Both of which are reimbursed to the client off their entire order.
