From Vintage to Fabulous- The Bazaar curates a fun and funky collection of vintage items, fabulous gifts, home décor, whimsical kitchenware, and timeless table ware!

My partner and I have been avid secondhand/thrift/antique store fans since before we knew that each other existed! In December 2020 we made the decision to all but pack up shop in our Mercari store and deactivated all of our listings on Esty, to go on and create our own space – The Bazaar, the Vintage Shop in the clouds!

We are the Vintage Shop in the clouds – with no brick and mortar, we offer all our listings for shipping and if local to Charleston, SC and neighboring areas- we offer Local Delivery!

We currently have over 300 live listings on our shop with a planned 25-50 new items posted weekly. We offer vintage kitchenware – usually Corning Ware, Pyrex, enamelware, and fondue pots and sets. Complete sets, incomplete sets, and replacement pieces for your vintage table settings – we have probably got them! Fun, funky, and unique gifts- we have got a pink crystal pig that checks somebodies’ box. Our collection of home décor items spans the decades – from antique, to true vintage, to NIB. We have an ever-growing collection of Starbucks mugs, tumblers, and reusable cups (from Vintage to Christmas 2020), not to mention teapots, teakettles, fine bone teacup sets, and an assortment of secondhand coffee cups and specialty mugs.

Our websites first ever blog post goes live tomorrow afternoon and will be listed under “The Bazaar Musings” blog. We are publishing The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Collecting Vintage Fiesta Ware – so far we cover topics from the origins of Fiesta Ware, the original colors, radioactivity within Fiesta’s signature original Red color, and some helpful information about backstamps and markings, and using that information to make the most educated guess at approximate production date, color and value of each piece.

We are constantly running promotions and giveaways via our social media accounts; Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest- and we stay engaged, interacting with our followers, sharing content from other related pages and groups, posting our new listings or collections, and creating attention grabbing content – our Corning Ware post from April garnered a reach of over 26,000 people – over 600 reactions – and upwards of 20+ shares to other groups, pages, and personal timelines. Additionally, we have our complete store catalog loaded into Facebook and Instagram Marketplaces- making it easy for our followers to shop our amazing finds without ever leaving their social media app. We also utilize Pinterest to drive website traffic – we are currently a verified merchant and we have the ability to run pin stories (Beta) within the Pinterest platform.
