Terry Galante Art Jewelry

I’ve always had the need to create. Sometimes that need has led me to write poetry or songs. Painting was my main outlet for a while. I’ve explored a myriad of crafts. When I discovered metalworking/jewelry making, I found my true creative passion.
I don’t like production, so I rarely use a design more than once. Mentors have told me to develop a signature look and stick with it, but I find that to be boring. I often spread stones and metal out on a table and let them tell me what they want to become. It amazes me that scraps of metal, and sometimes found objects, can be combined and transformed into a cohesive work of wearable art!
