Tantric Meditations

These meditations will help you find peace, pleasure, and relief from existential pain.

These meditations describe in detail the mysticism of the Vigyana Bhairava Tantra and explore Kundalini to help stimulate your chakras.

Most importantly, they are presented in a secular language without the mumbo-jumbo associated with most ancient texts. This is unsurprising because the course creator, Chaitanya Prabhu Hakkaladaddi, has published three books on Tantra, interpreting it in simple, modern terms.

About the Course Creator
Chaitanya Prabhu Hakkaladaddi was Editor and publisher of Debonair magazine for seven years before entering the world of e-learning. Almost immediately, he encountered Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences Theory in an online course from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

This opened up many possibilities for him in the Instructional Design space, helping him co-develop the Story Based Learning (StoBL) methodology when he was with Tata Interactive Systems (now MPS Interactive Systems) and envision many innovative learning solutions when he moved to Cognizant.

Chaitanya has developed training programs for multinational companies, schools, universities, and international organizations ranging from Qantas and Royal Mail (UK) to Pfizer and AT&T to educational consortiums catering to US School Districts.

He was a learning consultant for companies such as Procter & Gamble, General Electric, and Caterpillar in the US. He was on deputation to the United Nations (UNFPA) in New York.

For the last eight years, he has created immersive learning solutions for Multiple Intelligences Homeschool, an institution that fosters homeschooling and guides parents interested in genuine education. During this time, he has also been homeschooling his two daughters.

About Chaitanya’s Published Books
Chaitanya continues to be intensely interested in the Science of Consciousness, Existentialism, Evolutionary Theories, and Tantra Yoga. He has published the following books:
1. Tantra 2.0: Modern Interpretations of an Ancient Yoga (combines the Science of Consciousness with Tantra Yoga)
2. Tantra Awakening: 8 Paths to Enlightenment (describes Kundalini and Chakra awakening in simple terms)
3. Tantra Learning Framework: The Ego of ID. (Instructional Design)

The Modern Approach to Meditation
Most ancient texts record knowledge about the mind and consciousness. These texts were scripted in a language that restricts access to the knowledge they contain to a small fraction of people who are proficient in this language.

However, some psychologists have analyzed these writings and interpreted them in a contemporary manner so that genuine seekers can benefit from this valuable insight. This is a difficult task because these texts employ a coded and condensed language only the astute and tenacious scholar can comprehend.
Chaitanya achieved this through over 30 years of tantric practice and research. As a learning consultant, he created various courses for clients worldwide.

Diving Deeper
The saying goes that a teacher appears when the student is ready, and conditions promoting spiritual dissemination will also arise when appropriate. This is why the topic of dharana, or concentration, as outlined in Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, is particularly relevant. Spiritual seekers worldwide who have upheld personal disciplines for consciousness evolution require this knowledge.

Therefore, the time has come to introduce the ancient tantric system of dharana. Of course, the techniques of dharana are familiar to meditation practitioners.
Whether a materialist or a spiritualist, realizing that dharana is vital for progress in all spheres of life is essential. Even materialists pay tribute to energy because they recognize that this world is simply a manifestation of energy. Materialists have used physical processes to split the atom and harness its immense power for the benefit of humanity.

Similarly, the practice of dharana involves a spiritual process that divides the atom of energy within the mind, allowing it to be harnessed to accelerate the evolution of individual consciousness.

Simple, Achievable Meditational Techniques
The techniques described in these courses at www.tantricmeditations.com reassure learners that they can be done quickly. Although dharana is intended for practitioners with a steady and controlled mind, this book provides a gradual way for those with an unsteady mind to develop one-pointedness.

Let’s not forget that even the Buddha achieved enlightenment in 49 days of meditation.

If the mind is uncontrolled and dissipated, all the wealth, assets, luxuries, and comforts in this world become useless. Therefore, a man’s most valuable asset is a mind traveling on the desired path. We are not slaves to our minds but to the thoughts that wander in and out of them. Throughout the day, we act according to our mind’s direction.

When the mind is anxious, we feel worried. When it’s happy, we are pleased. When it’s envious, we experience jealousy. We experience extreme anger when we are in a state of fury. Can we take a stand and refuse to feel emotions such as happiness, anger, or a desire for revenge at any point in our lives?

The practice of dharana, which involves concentration, is the only way to control the wandering tendencies of the mind and curb the erratic tendencies. Dharana generates the momentum to override scattered distractions and convert them into awareness.

Discovering oneself is not enough!
It’s not enough to discover oneself and realize that our existence is a constant barrage of random thoughts. Should we not be able to control these thoughts? One must contemplate the idea to understand what it means to discover the self. I may identify myself by gender, nationality, religion, wealth, physical appearance, intellect, race, education, morality, or beliefs. However, according to Tantra, these characteristics are insignificant and irrelevant if you can’t control them.

Our beliefs ought not to make us. We need to make our beliefs!

Meditation Separates Us from Animals
No matter what decisions we make during our lifetime, it is crucial to remember the purpose for which we live. Our purpose is to discover and understand our true nature. Human life is considered to be very significant because only humans can comprehend their true essence. The seed of individuality is embedded in human beings, which allows us to know that we exist.

Unlike other creatures, who are unaware of their existence, humans possess knowledge of their existence and every action they take. Therefore, humans have a unique understanding of their existence.

Humans are aware of time, space, and objects, which sets them apart from animals, plants, and minerals despite these other forms of life being sentient. For example, a dog may bark but not know it is barking. Similarly, a tree may bear fruit, but it does not possess the knowledge that it is doing so. While many forms of life have feelings, likes and dislikes, acute responses, and memory, they do not know their existence within time and space or the objects around them.

It’s fascinating to consider that the same principle that grants us the ability to recognize our individuality and differences is also responsible for our ability to experience a sense of oneness with the universe.

Meditation enthusiasts may know about dharana techniques, but they might not be aware of the complete range of the tantric system and how it is employed. The tantric system of dharana involves a series of practices that help one concentrate one’s mind and awaken the dormant energy within. It is a spiritual process that helps one accelerate the evolution of individual consciousness by harnessing the atom of energy within the mind.

Chaitanya is pleased to share this work, which was created after extensive research on meditation, the Science of Consciousness, and Tantra.
