Striped Circle

We are not one of these faceless online stores where nobody knows who is behind them; we are a small family business, based out of Cheltenham, and the business was formed as a fledging idea during those dark lockdown months…

Striped Circle is headed up by Tim; a middle-aged bloke who, having spent the best part of 30 years in financial services and software delivery, decided that he wanted to do something a little more exciting, something a little more creative, and something to make him (and others) smile. And here we are.

The other reason for launching Striped Circle was to provide his two teenage sons, Sam and Jake (who were 16 & 14 at the time), with a business they could grab hold of, shape, develop and drive forward into a family business that we can all be proud of.

Let’s be honest, nobody is kidding themselves that the lads wouldn’t have been happy spending every available hour playing FIFA or GTA with their mates on the PS5, but Striped Circle has given them another focus.

Fast forward a couple of years and they are being creative, they are doing market research, they are learning about sales and marketing and customer service and they are learning that life is about hard graft. They are still playing on the PS5 too, obviously, but they now have a business to build, bills to pay and customers to keep happy.

So, that’s a bit about who we are.

We all love our music, we all love creating things that make others smile and we work together to create unique and original artwork that reminds us of different bands, songs, gigs, parties and happy moments in time.

Why are we called ‘Striped Circle’? Because the first ever logo we drafted ended up being a square full of spots and it looked rubbish…
