SONIC Natural Farming

Our comprehensive on-farm services include system installation, operation and customised schedules, so that farmers get a whole years supply of fresh ‘living’ Biological Fertiliser, in fresh batches, when they need them and where they need them.

SONIC flagship products include Fish Hydrolysate, Seaweed Biological Fertiliser and Liquid Seaweed Mineral Supplements for Livestock. Some of the many benefits of Biological Fertiliser include boosting soil biology, delivering organic minerals and trace elements, maximising seed germination rates, no toxic runoff, 100% safe for plants, animals and humans.

We make Fertiliser you could eat!

Our 100% environmentally friendly production and supply methods mean that farmers get to save on costly product transportation expenses. And, because we re-use all the fermentation and storage containers, farmers also get to save on single-use plastic costs and waste too.

On-farm services save the farmer time, so that they don’t have to locate, order and wait for fertiliser products. With our detailed customised schedules, farmers know exactly when they will be getting a fresh batch, timed so that it is suited to their specific spray regime.

To qualify for On-farm Production services the farm must require a minimum of 2,700 Litres of products per year. We break this quantity down into successive batches so that they have steady fresh supplies available throughout the year.

Biological Fertilisers are ‘living’ products and are best used fresh for optimum results. This is because the biology in biological products are living, and when they reach the soil, in the right conditions, they can multiply and perform their many critical functions that support plant health and immunity.

We facilitate bulk supply orders as well. We have a growing number of regional supply systems around Australia to cater for regional customers. Our minimum supply quantity is 180 litres. If growers cannot meet our minimum bulk supply quantity, we encourage them to either start or join a regional cooperative.

Cooperative members can put in their order and get added to a group list. Once that group reaches the minimum quantity, we provide the amount required to the Cooperative leader, who then distributes it to the members. Cooperative purchasing enables growers to access fresh Biological Fertiliser at lower than wholesale prices.

Biological Fertiliser is becoming more popular in the farming and gardening industries because it is 100% natural and has the ability to boost soil biology. Because these products are cold fermented, it means they capture all the essential minerals in a ‘bio-available’ form, or in an easy solution to uptake by soil, plants and animals. For the soil, plants and animals, Biological products are a bit like having yoghurt or Sauerkraut, because they are full of healthy probiotic and prebiotic cultures.

SONIC Natural Farming is a Australian family owned and operated business. SONIC founders are 4th generation farmers that discovered the effectiveness of using their self produced Biological Fertiliser on their Avocado farm back in 2013. Once they realised the results in their soil, and their healthy trees, as well as the cost effectiveness of these natural inputs, they developed the business to assist other farmers to achieve the same positive results.

Fish Hydrolysate is used by farmers as an organic nitrogen substitute to synthetic nitrogen or urea inputs. It is 100% safe for the environment and does not pollute waterways or the environment like synthetic inputs. It is an ideal food for beneficial soil microbes and fungi, which is how it boosts microbial populations in the soil.

Liquid Seaweed Biological Fertiliser is used by farmers to add the full spectrum of minerals and trace elements to the soil, given that these elements are all naturally balanced and available in seaweed. Seaweed is also a prebiotic for soil microorganisms, and because we cold process it, in an anaerobic environment, it becomes a probiotic for the soil as well. This means that all the essential minerals and trace elements are readily available for plants to uptake.

SONIC Liquid Seaweed Mineral Supplement for Livestock is 100% naturally cold processed seaweed which is tasty and easy to digest for animals. It helps to optimise digestion in animals because it has both probiotic and prebiotic qualities. Liquid Seaweed in their diet helps to ensure that they are getting all the nutrients they need to be healthy and have a strong immune system.

Recent studies are now showing that it is the microbiology in the soil that gives plants their immunity. This occurs by microbes, in a healthy growing environment, creating networks, much like the internet. These mycelium networks become the channels for plant nutrient acquisition, as well as pathways for communication between microbes and plants in the soil.

We believe that the fate of humanity will be decided at the frontier of the regenerative farming movement. We will either see farming lead to a chemical free, nutrient dense food supply, or a reinforcement of the use of chemical inputs.

Our fear is that without a global, conscious and concerted effort to reduce the use of chemicals in farming, the outlook for ‘real’ human health is bleak.

We are dedicated to advancing regenerative farming practices for a healthier planet and brighter future. We believe that by prioritising ‘living’ soil, farmers can fast-track the regeneration of living eco-systems, and establish long term sustainable productivity of their land.

Biological inputs, used in conjunction with regenerative farming, have opened the doors for agricultural efforts to cost effectively boost soil fertility and produce a ‘health giving’ food supply chain.

We advocate farm and land management practices that support this quest, and encourage farmers to utilise chemical free farming methods as liberating tools to unleash all the good that nature has to offer.
