Hi, I’m Shala, a headshot and personal branding photographer. I help professional women feel confident and own their brand, enabling me to capture the headshot of their dreams—one they are excited to share online or to send to that big speaking gig. But I’m not just taking your headshot; I ignite your confidence in front of the camera!

I’ve been a full-time entrepreneur since 2005. I’ve owned and operated several businesses at the same time (because I’m either really ambitious or really crazy), from a branding and design firm to a coworking space for creatives called Creative Colony. I launched my photography business in 2016.

As a certified branding expert who has helped brand hundreds of organizations, I combines my brand strategy, my love of supporting women, and my passion for telling powerful stories into my photography sessions. I couldn’t be more excited about every opportunity I have to ignite confidence in women as they courageously chase their callings.

Environmental Portraits
Shooting in an environment enhances your company’s brand story! We can scout your office, a special venue, or an outdoor location to find the best places to photograph your team. We usually photograph in environments for added creativity and diversity of images.

Solid Backgrounds
Shooting on a solid background, whether on-location or in-studio, helps a viewer connect directly with each person. It also allows great flexibility as your staff grows and changes. We can schedule a day to shoot the entire team at your office, then send new hires to my studio to get their headshots taken. Easy peasy!

There is something freeing about having your own branded stock library to use for all of your marketing materials.
