I have always been fascinated with sewing and find the rhythmical act of stitching something by hand very rewarding and calming. It’s a very absorbing craft and helps to quieten my anxiety after a busy day. It’s my happy place and I would encourage anyone to give it a try. You don’t have to be particularly artistic or an expert stitcher to gain the benefits.

Designing, creating and selling my own kit designs, specifically for canvas work otherwise known as needlepoint or tapestry in the UK has been a dream of mine for a long time and I’ve finally gone and done it! I’ve only recently opened my online shop with my debut needlepoint kits and I’ve been amazed at the support my small business has been given already. I’m learning something new every day and meeting and connecting with some wonderfully supportive people.

My plan is to continue adding more unique designs to my collection of kits over the coming months. I hope they bring you as much contentment as I got from putting them together.
