The same tones used on countless hit recordings.

The microphone preamplifiers can be purchased as a kit, or fully assembled modules that can be installed into an SCA chassis. The two SCA chassis’ are the PC01, a single channel standalone unit with a power supply and a DI, and the CH02, an 8 channel rack that you can use to mix and match any of the SCA modules.

In 2023, SCA announced it would be releasing a 500 series line of their DIY/Assembled products! The same great tones in a widely used format! The same audio circuits are used along with DC-DC converters to feed the circuits the power they need.

The mic preamplifier modules available are:

N72- a Neve style preamp, WARM says it all
A12- an API style preamp with an aggressive midrange
J99- a Jensen/John Hardy style preamp that is often described as sounding 3D
S90- and SSL style preamp that has the sound of the popular 9000 consoles
C84- a Millennia style pre that is crystal clear and dead quiet

SCA also offers a VCA db160 style compressor, the B16, and the H32 which are high and low-pass filters that are the style of the popular Harrison Ford filters
