Scott Hogg is a wedding photographer and videographer based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

He initially started out working in a photo lab in Forres, Morayshire. During this time, Scott started visiting the local camera club. After this, Scott attended Aberdeen College where he completed his HND in Professional Photography and Imaging. Since then Scott has photographed and filmed weddings throughout the United Kingdom and further afield in places like the USA, Spain and Finland.
Scott has won several awards throughout his career, this includes MPA Scottish Wedding Photographer Of The Year and BIPP UK Wedding Photographer Of The Year.
When it comes to family portraits, Scott is lucky to have beautiful backdrops for his outdoor “studio”. Slains Castle, Newburgh Beach and Duthie Park are just some of the locations used by Scott
Wedding films are also a large part of Scott’s business. Scott’s films have a cinematic feel and he utilizes many techniques to produce a stunning final product. Scott likes to blend in to the background during the filming of a wedding so he can capture the real, natural moments.
Apart from weddings and portraits, Scott also enjoys travel photography. He’s gone from the city streets in Manila to the quiet solitude of Death Valley. In 2019, Scott produced a collection of images that covered the ghost towns Nevada.
On a personal note, Scott lives with his wife and daughter in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
