Each knife takes an average of 30 hours to complete, from the forging of the steel to the final finish and polish an additional 8 hours are required to make the sheath and have the finished product ready for sale.
I have been making knives for over 30 years although only began doing it full-time in 2020. In this short time the business has grown well over 300% and continues to grow each quarter.
I work 7 days a week on average 10 hours a day sometimes more if required, I dont do it in the pursuit of wealth I do it because I am passionate about it. Pounding on red hot steel and forming it into a functional piece of art full fills me.
Hand made knives are not only functional but in the right hands and with some care will last a lifetime, yes they may be more expensive that your store bought knife but for the amount of years you can expect them to work they are far cheaper.
