Working with models, actors, and film directors, Sylvie met Sudy Dostal, an American writer educated in Paris and then based in London developing her first feature screenplay. Sudy later invited Sylvie to Los Angeles, where their shared appreciation for visual art led to a business venture centered on original cinema posters. Drawing on Sudy’s early fascination with poster collecting in Paris and their frequent travels between California and France, the two sourced, traded, and preserved rare pieces as demand and value steadily grew. As originals became scarce, they began exploring reproduction as a natural evolution of their work.
