Founder and Publisher Steven Sande

Steve is the founder and publisher of Apple World Today. He began writing online in 1986, when he started a Mac Bulletin Board System that ran until 1994. Steve then began creating websites focusing primarily in the mobile space.

In 2008, Steve was hired by Aol’s TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog), where he wrote millions of words of articles as an author and editor. When that site shut down in 2015, he founded Apple World Today.

Steve has been married to Barb, a retired rocket engineer, for 41 years. He’s an avid photographer, an FAA-licensed drone pilot, and a really bad guitarist.
