Quincey Jones Jelly Preserves Co. – Not Just Jam and Preserves. A Jam and Preserves Renaissance.
In a world full of noise, sugar, and sameness, we make jam that’s about clarity.

At Quincey Jones Jelly Preserves Co., we’re not here to blend in on a supermarket shelf. We’re not interested in racing to the bottom with cheaper ingredients or hollow flavours. We don’t outsource flavour to chemicals or shortcuts. And we definitely don’t see jam as just a breakfast condiment.

What we do see is an opportunity to bring back real food, made with real fruit, by real people who care about what ends up on your table.

The Real Difference? It’s in the Jar—and the Heart Behind It.
We’re based along the Murray River in Echuca–Moama, Australia. That’s important. It’s not just geography—it’s soul. It’s where fruit still tastes like fruit, where the seasons matter, and where neighbours still know your name.

Our preserves are made in small batches in our custom-built preserving kitchen, crafted by hand, not by conveyor belt. Each jar contains 75% real fruit, often double the fruit content of mass-produced supermarket jams. Less sugar. We only source 100% Australian Fruit, too! More flavour. More integrity. More national pride.

And our flavours? They’re not just unique—they’re meaningful. Every jar starts with a question:
“What would be delicious and memorable?”
We don’t launch new products because the market demands them. We launch them because we tasted something worth sharing.

Some Call It a Jam Business. We Call It a Flavour Movement.
We’ve released over 30 preserves and counting, from classic Strawberry and Seville Orange Marmalade to wild creations like Cherry & Vanilla Rum Jam, Raspberry & Coconut Jam, Pear & Ginger Jam, and our latest Red Currant & Red Onion Relish.

Each flavour is a creative expression. A flavour memory. A conversation starter. A sense of place.

Our customers are not “consumers.” They’re cooks, gifters, grazers, grazers, and grandmothers. They’re café owners, cheese lovers, and Sunday brunch enthusiasts who care about quality, craft, and connection. Many are women—wise, loyal, and done with junk.

Our preserves show up on cheeseboards. In wedding hampers. On Christmas tables. In local markets and national gift boxes. They’re eaten by hand, by the spoonful, by the people who know the difference between a label and a legacy.

We Started in a Kitchen. And We’ve Never Forgotten That.
Tim Harley, our founder, didn’t start this as a corporate play. He started it at home—with a saucepan, some quinces, and a belief that homemade was still the best-made.

That belief turned into a brand. That brand turned into a multiple-award-winning preserve company, now shipping Australia-wide and appearing in gourmet grocers, high-end delis, and fine food competitions.

But even with a growing team and a brand-new preserving kitchen, we haven’t lost our kitchen-table roots. We still taste every batch. Still write every label ourselves. Still answer emails with care. Still show up at farmers markets at 6 am with samples and smiles.

Because when your name is on the jar, every detail matters.

What Makes Us Different?
Let’s break it down:

1. 100% Australian-Grown Fruit
We use local ingredients—not from spreadsheets, but from orchards. Our fruit is grown under the Aussie sun, not shipped in from overseas warehouses. Because provenance matters.

2. 75% Fruit Content = Low Sugar, High Flavour
Most supermarket jams are 35–45% fruit. Ours are 75%. That’s why you can taste the strawberries. That’s why our Raspberry & Coconut Jam pops with brightness instead of syrupy sweetness.

3. No Preservatives. No Additives. No Junk.
If we wouldn’t feed it to our kids, we won’t put it in a jar. Simple.

4. Artisan Process in a Purpose-Built Kitchen
Yes, we’ve grown. But we’ve grown with intention. Our new Moama kitchen gives us the space to create at scale without sacrificing our small-batch soul.

5. Bold, Original Flavours
Cherry & Vanilla Rum. Red Currant & Red Onion. Raspberry & Coconut. These are not gimmicks. They’re crafted from layered flavour, balanced acidity, and just enough surprise to keep you coming back.

6. Brand with Personality (and a Bit of Cheek)
We believe a good jam should make you smile. So should the label. We write like we speak: honest, warm, sometimes a little funny, always real.

7. Rooted in Community
Tim is also the President of the Echuca Farmers Market—championing local food, local producers, and regional resilience. We’re not just in the community; we’re of it.

A Few Sweet Facts
We’re named after the quince—the often-overlooked fruit behind some of the most incredible jellies in the world.

Our first flavour? A spiced Quince Jelly, of course.

We’ve won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the Australian Food Awards and Sydney Royal Fine Food Show—and we’re just getting started.

Our most loyal customers? The ones who tried us once at a local market, fell in love, and now ship boxes interstate every Christmas.

We’re working on video storytelling, bringing customers into our preserving kitchen, letting them meet the people behind the jars. Transparency isn’t a tactic—it’s a value.

So What’s Next?
We don’t want to be the biggest jam company in Australia. We want to be the most loved.

We want to help people rediscover flavour. To turn toast into a ritual. To make gifting joyful again. To remind people that what you spread on your bread matters—not just for the taste, but for the people, places, and practices it represents.

We’re not chasing scale. We’re chasing meaning.

This isn’t just jam.
This is Quincey Jones Jelly Preserves Co.
Made slowly. Made proudly. Made for those who still believe food is love.
