Born from one family’s passion and refined through years of craftsmanship, we’ve grown into the UK and Europe’s leading specialists in authentic asado grilling. Our Story It all started with one man’s love for cooking and one woman’s longing for home. When founder Nick Frangione noticed his Argentine wife Lorena missing the traditional asado she’d grown up with, he set about recreating it in the UK. In 2007, they imported their first genuine Argentine parrilla to Britain. The journey was not without setbacks — it took years of research, trial and error, and a deep dive into gaucho culture and craftsmanship to get things just right. By 2015, Nick and Lorena had formally launched Parrilla Gaucha UK: a business dedicated to manufacturing and importing premium-quality “parrilla” BBQ grills, outdoor kitchens and catering events built on the traditions of the gaucho. Today, they stand proudly as exclusive UK importers of masonry parrillas from Argentina and as manufacturers of stainless-steel units in the UK. What Sets Us Apart Authenticity of craft – Our grills are not generic barbecues. They are precise, purpose-built machines rooted in Argentine heritage. Each unit is crafted from commercial-grade 304 stainless steel, CNC-cut, laser-formed and finished by hand to ensure durability and performance – designed to meet the rigours of serious open-fire cooking. Engineering meeting tradition – A hallmark feature of our units is the height-adjustable grilling surface (via crank & chain mechanism) that allows you to raise and lower the meat over the coals, giving you control over cooking temperature in a way conventional barbecues cannot match. Dedicated design for true asado – We incorporate V-groove enamel-coated grates, drip pans, wood/charcoal fire baskets and other specialist features that prevent flare-ups, manage juices and capture flavour in the true Argentine style. Full service, not just product – Beyond grills, we design and build bespoke outdoor kitchens, integrate complete entertainment spaces and handle everything from conception to installation. Catering & events that wow – Our asado catering arm brings the full experience: premium Argentine beef cuts, open wood-fired grilling, interactive spectacles and a genuine “feast on the eye” flavour profile.
