OHS.com.au has been around since late 1990’s and is an exceptional resource. Our refresher courses are particularly useful and we now concentrate on online safety and health training. Some of you might say that the world has changed – WHS! Many of you are familiar with OHS (or Work Health and Safety). We, as well as many customers, will not blink an eye if OHS or OH&S is mentioned. The term is here to stay. WHS still draws blank stares – unless you answer with ‘you know Occupational Safety and Health’. We don’t have WHS at AU as our website, but we are OHS.com.au. It is worth using the recognised term!

We are not an RTO but have worked with many over the years. For those of you who live further afield, we also have a store in New Zealand . Soon, we will open in India.

So, HOW DO YOU USE OUR ONLINE COURSES?
We love to be used online as a refresher course or awareness centre. If you don’t have time or the desire to take another day out of your busy life. You may have previously taken a face-to-face course that was nationally recognised and your employer has asked you to repeat it. If you are already working in the industry, you can just brush up on current codes of practice, WHS/OHS legislation, or other pertinent issues. OHS.com.au can help you.

Let’s take an example. You have completed RIIWHS204E Safely at Heights. Now you want to refresh your knowledge. You can take the online course and then pair your original Statement with the new Certificate of Completion. The online refresher training course does not include the practical elements that you have done or are doing in your daily face-to-face work. However, it is based upon the unit of competency learning outcomes. You will need to check with your employer for specific requirements.

It really depends on what you are doing. If you’re taking a prescribed course that requires face-to-face training, it is a licence course. You have answered your own question. Nope. What if you have already done it? You just want to be more aware of the topic? Our OHS courses online can save $$$, hassle, unless it is specifically stated in legislation.
