The Northamptonshire Manufacturing Alliance (NNMA) is your hub for connecting, collaborating, and innovating across the region. Proudly based in Northamptonshire (home of the NN postcode) — a county with a rich industrial heritage and exceptional modern capability — we sit at the heart of England, naturally linking into Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Warwickshire. Together, this wider Heartland ecosystem forms a thriving network of manufacturing and engineering excellence. Whether you’re a manufacturer, engineer, solution provider or buyer, NNMA connects you to the right people and puts your business in front of them. We signpost you to trusted local suppliers, sector specialists and support — and actively promote Northamptonshire manufacturers through our business directory, helping them be found by buyers, partners and collaborators. From food and drink and independent makers to boots, shoes and engineering, we champion what’s made here. The Northamptonshire Manufacturing Alliance was created to celebrate and strengthen what already exists across the region: a remarkable community of manufacturers, suppliers, educators, innovators, and support organisations. A spark ignited back in the 1980s, when our founder entered engineering as the only woman in the cohort. A moment that highlighted how long conversations around inclusion and representation have been part of this sector. Today, that perspective fuels the Alliance’s mission: celebrating talent in all its forms, connecting organisations, and championing the full breadth of skills and opportunity across Northamptonshire’s manufacturing community.
