We bring all the equipment – including blasters, darts, goggles plus the game ideas – to your home, parks, rec centers, schools… The best part is our referees handle everything from setup to clean up!
Our founder, Jackson Smith, started Mobile Battles when he was 14 years old and built the business from the ground up using all his own equipment and ideas. After Jackson helped his younger brother have a Nerf™ birthday party by refereeing the battles and setting up homemade barriers in the basement, the idea for a Mobile Battles business was born! Mobile Battles now brings Nerf™ battle fun to lots of kids. Since the very first party, parents and participants have been impressed with Jackson’s professionalism and organization which helped the company grow mostly by word-of-mouth recommendations. Jackson created many different types of games and equipment to suit everybody and all ages and has been growing the company since its inception.
In high school, Jackson was very involved in DECA, an international organization that prepares high school students for careers in marketing, business, and hospitality. Jackson competed using his Mobile Battles Entrepreneur Business Growth and Business Expansion Plans and won at multiple levels including competing nationally in Atlanta, GA in 2017 and again in Anaheim, CA in 2018. In 2022 while attending the University of North Dakota, Jackson again impressed marketing and business professionals when he competed in a “Shark Tank”-like competition hosted by the Nistler College of Business where he took home the 1st place prize of $10,000 for his Mobile Battles business plan.
Now in its 10th year, Mobile Battles continues to grow and expand its service area in and around Washington DC with two event teams comprised of seven referees and can operate as many as six parties per weekend. Word of mouth continues to promote Mobile Battles and revenue increases annually! Our referees continuously receive glowing reviews for their professionalism, energy and passion for Nerf™!
