They decided to settle in the beautiful city of Puerto Plata. After exploring several places with different guides, they made the decision to create their own business, thus founding the company Topacio Travel. This company specialized in giving tourists the opportunity to explore Puerto Plata in a safe and fun way, accompanied by expert guides.

Over time, Topacio Travel grew and evolved, and in 2014, Andrés and Anette found the perfect place to establish their dude ranch, a true paradise. The chosen location stood out for its impressive setting, with beautiful mountains in the background and a large green area adorned with a varied selection of flowers, fruits and trees, many of which were native or endemic to the island. Visitors also had the opportunity to taste delicious chocolate made with cocoa grown in the surrounding area, a real pleasure for the most demanding palates. In addition, they could enjoy a local lunch prepared by expert hands full of love, providing the necessary energy after participating in exciting, adrenaline-filled activities.

In 2018, Manuel, a Spaniard with extensive experience in the hotel industry, and his wife Ilia, a Dominican professional in the area of tourist services, joined the project and assumed management of the company, changing its name to Mega Adventures. . This new management team brought youth, dynamism, new ideas and a modernization of digital processes and strategies. Andrés continues to be involved in the project, supporting operations and the development of new initiatives, maintaining his passion for this company that has been his dream come true.
