What started out as a cake & Dessert business quickly shaped into something much sweeter. After begging her husband for a fairy floss machine for her birthday, Samantha bought the biggest most practical machine and began sharing flossy treats with her family.
When the first Covid Lockdown hit, cake sales and local market events came to a screeching halt. However, with a bright suggestion from her husband Samantha made over 200 containers of Fairy floss and advertised them on the Penrith Local Buy Swap & Sell page. Needless to say, her messages and notifications went MAD!
Having sold out in just over an hour a new side to an existing business was born and a new dream was evolving.
Over time we have introduced more flavours with 10 different amazing flavours in regular rotation and 27 flavours in the bank for those special occasions. We have also opened up a variety of treats and gifts centered around fairy floss and an extra decadent side dish of Gourmet fudges.
We attend many local markets and larger scale events, currently averaging 1-2 events per week across the Blue mountains, Hawkesbury, Nepean and Western Sydney districts.
At this stage there’s only 1 person you will see behind the table at events, 1 person you will get an online response from, and 1 person who pours her heart and soul into each personalized label from scratch. Samantha is not alone in the production however, with the incredible support from her husband, behind the scenes this dynamic duo is bringing sweet fluffy goodness to people Australia wide online and in person! No big corporations here, just a mum supporting her growing family!
