Liles Parker PLLC is a health care regulatory law firm representing providers and suppliers nationwide in complex business transactions and in administrative, civil and criminal litigation. The team includes former federal prosecutors, many of whom held senior roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, along with former HHS legal counsel and health care lawyers who also hold certifications as billers, professional coders, medical coding specialists and medical compliance officers. In short, they understand the business of health care as well as the law.
The firm’s attorneys are recognized for their work in corporate governance, business transactions, Medicare, Medicaid and private payor overpayment audits and appeals, and civil and criminal litigation. That focused experience has earned them national reputations in regulatory compliance and health care law, and they are regularly invited to speak at national conferences. Martindale-Hubbell has given the firm its AV rating, reserved for practices recognized for the highest level of legal ability and ethical standards.
Managing Partner Robert W. Liles brings more than 30 years in regulatory compliance as both a federal prosecutor and defense counsel. After starting out in hospital management with an M.B.A. and an M.S. in Health Care Administration, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Texas handling False Claims Act cases, then as the country’s first National Health Care Fraud Coordinator and later Deputy Director, Legal Programs, at the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys. The firm’s philosophy is simple: your success is its success, and it works hard to protect clients’ financial interests and personal liberty as cost-effectively as possible.
