With that in mind, in 1952, a family of brothers from Laredo, Texas opened a discount furniture store named LFD and gave Laredo what they wanted – beautiful furniture with an affordable price tag. With their success, word spread throughout South Texas and communities asked for more of LFD … and LFD delivered! New stores began opening their doors in Eagle Pass, Rio Grande City, McAllen, and Brownsville!
By 1987, LFD had opened up 6 furniture stores in South Texas offering their customers better quality furniture, appliances and electronics, specialized customer service, and better warranties and delivery that set them apart from other competitors.
