Kindling Franchise Consultants were founded as an antidote to this. Our founder Andrew Walters is one of the UK’s leading experts in International Franchising with close to two decades in the industry across Europe and North America. Having sat on the boards of some of the UK’s leading Franchise brands, he set up Kindling as a way to bring the experience and successes that he had to others in the industry. Many operators are surprised at the complexity and challenges that they are facing in trying to start or scale a Franchised business – this can be from an inability to find or recruit the right quality of Franchisee, or in having trouble with managing a challenging network of franchisees once they have hit scale. As a model it is simple in concept, and yet like anything is difficult to perfect – it comes from experience and lessons learnt that we like to share with our customers. They get to learn from the successes and learning experiences that we have had over the past 17 years.

In terms of experience we have covered all sectors of the Franchise world. From helping groups to manage a large and diverse network of Franchisees, to taking responsibility for the recruitment and onboarding of new Franchise candidates.

A particular area of expertise for the business for which we are renowned is our International franchise consulting arm. Over the past 17 years, Andrew has taken franchise brands into more than twenty countries around the Globe. From large established Franchise markets such as the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, and Australia to more developing parts of the World such as India, Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria & Morocco,

Franchise Consulting itself is not a new segment of the industry, and of course there are a number of options available. Where Kindling sets itself apart is in the strategic approach that we take with our clients. Many emerging and aspiring Franchisors are looking for the documents and support needed to start or to build their network. We believe though that the true value comes from seeing the bigger picture and being able to guide them on how and why to Franchise first.
