Kids Channel Montessori

We were founded in 2003 by Mr Toby (me) as a Montessori Centre teaching phonics, English and Math. Since then we have grown and adapted to the market. With the Hong Kong protests and then Covid all but closing our main in-house businesses we had to adapt. This is where the On line courses began.
Kids Channel has always been a family run business, with my Wife and I running the show. Now our children are getting older (13 and 14) and they are fully involved in our video courses. They play the lovable puppets, Jake and Fred and also produce all the graphics we use in our videos and books.

We have courses online and in-house and cover the UK’s National Framework for Key Stage 1 and 2. Our driving force is always to offer something more than the regular education system can. We also offer flashcards and original Storybooks and have a complete set of workbooks to complement the video series coming very soon.

Our newest course has won awards from the UK and has received a great response from our Students. The English Programs for Young learners (2-6yrs old) takes our philosophy and offers a stimulating and fun way to learn.
Fred Rabbit and Jake the dog are the main stars in all our videos and they have a lot of fun on their learning journey.

We make Phonics a very simple, step by step process. Our programs also include a lot of natural language, fun and excitement for young kids. They watch and they learn – and they come out at the end of the program, knowledgeable in many topics, confident and interested to learn more.
We use our experience, understanding and enthusiasm to offer kids a great way to learn as they grow. We know what children need and want – and the variety of our programs reflect this. Our online Early years Program covers the whole Early Years Framework as well as a lot of Key Stage 1 . (UK Curriculum)

We have a huge collection of videos covering every KG Topic you can think of. They promote confidence with language and are filled with stories, songs, and key vocabulary. They follow the HK EDB guidelines, as well as the EYFS from the UK. They have been used in Kindergartens as an after-school activity or added into the weekly schedules. Our Drama series take well known stories and songs and with Fred and Jakes help – they are turned into performances. The whole process gets the kids involved and they can see what is really involved in putting in a show! This series is great for public-speaking and interview skills.
We also have quiz-style show called Unbelievable News. We look at interesting facts about different topics and discuss whether they are true or False. It is great fun and kids also learn a lot about their world.
