SHe is also a brain tumor surgery survivor and warrior and writes from lived experiences. SHe is a unique medical thriller author as the stories are the result of a combined knowledge of being on both sides of the bed. After waking from a coma, she realized that she had lost many memories, needed to relearn how to walk and talk, and writing served as a way to rewire her brain, and her creativity was ignited.
