Hi, I’m Jeff

I established my wedding photography business in 2007, and in that time, I have photographed over 400 weddings throughout the UK and a few international wedding destinations.

How I started
In 2007, I walked away from corporate life, and I set out on a new adventure of becoming self-employed. While uncertain of my true vocation, I bought myself a camera to document my family and all that was going on around me. Quite quickly, I found that I was actually quite good at photography.

Very soon, my interest in photography became a real passion for me. It both stimulated me and challenged me, and I absolutely love it. Taking my passion and the deep desire to document other people’s lives, I leapt to become a professional wedding photographer in Essex. Practising daily by photographing family and friends, I was soon asked to photograph my first wedding within a few months, and from that day since, I have been on the most exciting journey ever.

Passion:
I am passionate about telling a couple’s wedding day story through the lens, creating a romantic tale of their most important day in photographs. With my calm manner, I blend into the wedding like a guest. I use a relaxed, artistic and reportage style to capture every wonderful moment of their big day so that they can relive their memories forever.

Style:
My photography style is influenced by films, light and the great outdoors, which has favoured me to photograph the weddings of hundreds of amazing wedding couples up and down the UK and abroad.

My Couples:
My wedding couples are from various backgrounds and life paths. Still, they seem to share a few things – easy-going, fun and adventure-loving individuals who have an appreciation for photography or art in general. My couples are often first attracted to my work for its colour and lighting, and I’m pleased to say that we have become great friends, too.

Qualifications & Awards:
I am a qualified member of The Master Photographers Association, the leading professional association for full-time photographers. About 5 years ago, I started entering competitions for professional photographers. This was for my personal development rather than to attract more clients. I have gone on to win both photography and business awards.

What I love
I love life; I love people; I love adventure! I love to be creative; I love to watch films; I love to travel, and I love my job.
I love to do little things that make my family and me very happy. Filling up our lives with wonderful moments and creating memories that make us laugh. We love having adventures, planning big trips or spontaneous days out.
