Hi! My name is Erica! My husband Eric and I started I Am Erica's Flags in 2006. We are a family-owned and operated specialty flag shop. However, we weren't always flags. Our journey began in 2006. What started as a side business in Canton, Texas, on “1st Monday weekends" has grown into a store open 6 days a week, a website that keeps us busy, and a flagpole sales, installation, and repair business. About I Am Erica's Flags: It's all about Family. Family is what you get! Our boys are one of the main reasons we started this business. They were very young and have been helping us from the beginning. Having our own business has allowed us to spend more time together, attending football games, band concerts, track meets, Cub Scout campouts, and field trips. Growing this business with us has helped them grow into hard-working young men. We are proud to say we have a proud father of 4 beautiful little girls, a Fireman/Marine, and a dedicated musician and high school marching band student. Community service is also essential to I Am Erica's Flags. We make every effort to promote and do business with other small businesses in our area through social media posts and word-of-mouth recommendations. We also volunteer at the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial to help raise funds for the facility's maintenance. We also support local animal rescue organizations through donations, volunteer work, and facilitating adoption events. Our dedicated community involvement earned us the honor of receiving the 2025 "Business of the Year" award from the Canton, Texas, Chamber of Commerce. Starting a small business is easy, but keeping it going is hard. Family is what you get when you shop with us at I America's Flags. Eric and I, our boys, and my sister all run this show, along with our long-time friends who have become employees. It's a lot of work, but we love it. Now on to our flags! We carry a HUGE selection of decorative and seasonal garden flags and house flags. All holidays and seasons are covered. We also offer a large selection of American flags, military flags, first-responder flags, and Christian flags. We have flags of all 50 states and some countries. You will also find a great selection of historical, political, and college flags. We make every effort to offer as many American-made items as possible. In fact, there is a category on our website specifically for American-made products. If you are looking for something in particular but do not see it on our site, we can most likely get it for you. As a military and first-responder family, we believe it is essential to offer multiple flags supporting the different branches of the military, as well as police, firefighters, EMS, and other service-related occupations. You can show your support by displaying one or more of our garden flags, house flags, 3×5 flags, banners, or chrome car emblems. Our extensive selection of decorative wind spinners by Premier Kites and Designs, featuring WhirliGigs and spinners in a variety of themes, including St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays as well as birds, bees, insects, fish, flowers, tractors and farm animals, dogs, Bigfoot, golf, patriotic, police, firefighter, and more. We also have windsocks, twisters, standard and oversized mailbox covers, and the selection continues to grow. We add new products regularly to continue offering a large selection.
