Started in 2016 by two passionate beer lovers, Matt and Joslyn, they wanted to share their love of good beer with others which led them to start Hop On Brewery Tours.
Growing up in Portland, Oregon, good beer has always been part of Joslyn’s life, but that wasn’t the case for Matt. Growing up in Tasmania, the beer options were limited – and they were no better in Queensland in the early 2000s. However everything changed when the two chanced upon a beer festival in Launceston, where Matt’s eyes were opened to new styles and flavours.
Fast foward to another beer festival in 2015 and the two knew they wanted to get into the industry but weren’t sure how. They were inspired when they sighted a van for an existing brewery tour company in another state, and after researching and finding nothing that compared in Queensland, decided on Hop On Brewery Tours!
Since our first tour in April, 2016, the list of venues and companies we partner with has continued to grow. We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with our breweries, and the connection we make with our guests to find everyone their perfect beer. Our aim is to change your perception of beer by providing tools and resources that empower our guests to trust their instincts when it comes to buying beer in the future.
