We provide aesthetic laser services direct to the public. Our most popular treatments are laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, facial thread-vein removal and other facial treatments.

We use very high quality European laser technology for great results and to optimise safety. Aaron, our clinical director was a critical care nurse for 20 years and uses his broad medical experience to inform care and continuously improve practice. Melanie, our communications director is your main point of contact when making enquiries and scheduling visits.

There is an awful lot of moonshine in the aesthetics industry. Many operators provide “treatments” which appear to be more of a placebo than bringing about significant improvements. Other services use cheap Chinese equipment which is frankly dangerous. We only ever provide treatments which have a good likelihood of success and which are safe. Highland Laser Clinic is always very careful to describe benefits and risk factors in detail. There is no hard sell.

We started trading as Highland Tattoo Removal back in 2015. Since then we have diversified and rebranded to Highland Laser Clinic to reflect the service we now provide.

Since then we have developed an enviable reputation as the best tattoo removal service in the region. All the top tattoo studios refer customers to us to knock down existing tattoos for coverup work. We have many successful full removals, including on challenging multicoloured tattoos. Our technology suite includes a Q-Switched Ruby laser. This laser source operates in the 694nm wavelength and is able to remove most light blue and green tattoos that conventional Nd:YAG tattoo removal lasers can’t touch. We are very proud of our hard won before and after pics.

We help many women of all ages to manage facial hair issues. This has become a bit of a specialism for us, and we often treat multiple generations of ladies from the same family for this. Problem facial hair is very common but seems to be a bit of a taboo subject. It’s not something people tend to talk about, and there is very little awareness of it in the media. Facial hair removal is very satisfying work and we have lost count of the number of times ladies have told us that we have changed their lives for the better.

We also do more conventional hair removal on underarms, bikini areas, legs and anywhere else you can imagine.

Our vein removal service successfully removes thread-vein, telangiectasia, cherry angiomas, venous lakes, spider naevi and rosacea. We use high energy pulsed laser for these facial procedures.

Our rejuvenation service removes unwanted sun damage, solar lentigo and other unwanted little brown marks. Our laser facial service uses non-ablative fractional resurfacing to tone skin, promote neocollagenesis and an overall plumping and tightening of the skin.

Our wart and verruca removal is a smaller service but has had good results to date removing these unwanted lesions in one to three sessions.

Our latest acquisition is an Erbium laser. We plan to use this technology in response to many public requests for skin tag removal. We also plan to use it to reduce hypertrophic scarring and for mole removal. This new service should be up and running in early 2023.

We have a semi-rural location on the edge of town with plenty of parking. Customers enjoy the privacy and convenience this affords.
