Helene Goldberg Alexander Technique

She is registered with the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AUSTAT) as a Certified Alexander Technique Teacher.

As a child and young teen, Helene was privileged to have renowned concert pianist, Jascha Spivakovski, as her teacher. The gentleness and warmth with which he taught left a lasting impression on her, igniting her passion for music and nurturing her appreciation for the subtleties of movement and expression at the piano.

Before becoming an Alexander teacher, Helene embarked on a diverse journey that shaped her approach to teaching. She spent years leading seminars for an international transformative education organisation, ventured into entrepreneurship alongside her husband by establishing an I.T. recruitment office in Texas for an Australian company, and pursued her passion for sewing by building her own high-end dressmaking supplies boutique business.

Throughout these endeavours, Helene’s desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives remained constant. Several years ago, struggling with a recurring repetitive strain injury from her time at the piano, Helene found relief from the chronic pain, and through this invaluable practice.

Grateful for the remarkable recovery she experienced that allowed her to return to her piano with greater ease and freedom from pain, she was inspired to share the benefits of the Alexander Technique with others.

Now, teaching the Alexander Technique, Helene combines her diverse background with her lifelong dedication to empowering others to live with more ease and greater vitality. With her holistic approach to well-being, in addition to her teaching, she finds joy in playing the piano, sewing couture garments, practising Alexander Yoga, and growing her edible garden.
