We often purchased pieces that in person were not worth the price. Finding quality for a fair price required a lot of research and often times led to a disappointing outcome.

In the same timeframe, while we were in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, we were able to furnish several homes with custom made pieces, all made in Mexico. This was a fun and exciting experience that created a stronger connection to the community and reflected a level of quality that was limited in the US. We were able to procure custom pieces, but oftentimes they would take 4 – 6 months to arrive, and the process to define and visualize could be very challenging. There was a tremendous amount of research done in the process to ensure that the custom pieces would fit our space and reflect our style.

This is where Heart and Soul LIfestyle was truly born. We wanted to bring bespoke modern furnishings, handcrafted in the US to a virtual storefront. These talented Artisans typically take 2- 3 months to fill an order. So, we wanted to provide a white glove experience where we procure inventory and keep it on-hand, so orders arrive in days vs weeks or months.

Focusing on the US initially, we at Heart and Soul Lifestyle, seek to help our clients fill their homes with luxurious and functional handmade items that showcase their style and spirit. By doing so, their new furniture and decor will act as an extension of their heart and soul, into which they can invite their family and friends and all that they love.

Heart and Soul Lifestyle’s logo is inspired by my current home in Kansas City. This 1970’s ranch has had a revival and it is now the gathering place for friends and family. This fills my Heart and Soul and is the Heart and Soul Lifestyle that I wish for all of our clients.

Tracy Church is the Founder/Owner and personally curates items from select artisans with whom she has built a relationship. Through a personal connection with the artisan and a deep understanding of their work, Tracy knows the intricate details of how every piece is designed and created.
