Hazy Shade Disc Golf & More

We opened in a 400 sq ft building with about 100 discs displayed on little wooden shelves. Today, Hazy Shade has 6,400 sq ft of retail space. Our Dayton location offers almost 1,000 sq ft of training space including a putting room with movable trees. We carry over 17,000 discs and tons of gear from most major manufactures including Innova, Discraft, MVP, Kastaplast and Ohio’s own Pie Pan Discs. 
Still, we are more than that. We are community builders. We have poured over 100 tee pads and purchased over 100 baskets for our community, including 4 full courses. We helped to finance our 91 worlds course basket upgrade, and have donated countless hours of course maintenance. Still, we are more than that; we are community supporters. We have raised thousands of dollars for great causes for and with our disc golf family. We run an annual fundraiser to support local families at the holidays, vend all our area club events, offering our stock to the players either by bringing them to the park or allowing them to come back to the shop to pick through the entire collection. We give the lion’s share of these profits back to the club who helps maintain the parks.

Still, we are even more than that, we are #TeamHazy. Sponsoring a great group of players. Some of the highest rated PDGA players in the state of Ohio. These folks are not only amazing athletes but community builders in their sport as well. Whether it’s the courses they are responsible for, starting or the clinics, leagues, or events they are running #TeamHazy is out in the community representing. And still, we are more than that; we are promoters. We run multiple events in a season including the Hazy Shade Open. A PDGA B Tier with over 400 players. Also our annual BYOP Doubles event which hosts over 700 players and uses 5 area courses.
