Starting life as a family business Handlestore has been selling online since day one and in fact we don’t sell in any other way. Backing up the website are two warehouses based in Aldridge and Cannock in the West Midlands and Staffordshire counties. From here we organise all of our stock for next day availability across the UK to both residential and trade customers. Our stockholding represents well over 10 000+ product lines including some of the best branded products available in the UK.
The name suggests we sell handles and of course we do, in fact lots of them! Whether that be kitchen cabinet handles, interior door handles, upvc door handles or even marine grade handles for ships we have solutions right across the board. Nowadays, we have diversified into more associated product markets like ironmongery which covers just about everything you can think of around the home when it comes to window and door hardware.
In the beginning though our management team brought a lot of technical expertise from the upvc window and door market with a view to making replacement hardware in this market easily accessible. In such a specialist market the skills were there to make diy possible for everyone, and the website handlestore.com was the means by which to do it. Later and in more recent years we have seen the company diversify its products into commercial markets like schools, facilities management and window and door manufacturers.
The Handlestore brand is synonomous with reliability, innovation and quality. As our MD always stays “this is a needs business and it’s our job to get hardware working on windows and doors.
