Founder
I’m Charlotte Gill & this is my story
“Hypnotherapy initially helped me manage PTSD from a toxic relationship, divorce and depression and I was quickly hooked!”
I went on to train as a practitioner, wanting to escape the rat race of full-time Science teaching. I placed all my faith in my natural ability as a Hypnotherapist and my down to earth approach with clients which, once I’d got myself out there, proved to be very popular.

Driven by the fear of failure, countless sleepless nights and many a crash course in marketing and customer management skills. Despite no start up funds and financial uncertainty I had to learn quickly and in a lot of ways simply “wing it” to get by as a therapist. I actually accredit much of this ability to my ADHD brain which refused to give up on my dream.

I am high energy. I incorporate humour into my therapy and coaching. As an ex- teacher I love teaching and public speaking.

I have been a GHR accredited Hypnotherapist supervisor for 5 years and I cannot understand why there is so little collaboration within the industry. Instead of sharing best practices which was second nature as a Secondary Science Teacher……. Therapists tend to have solitary careers. All re-inventing the wheel each time. Alone. WHY??
I believe it’s a trust thing. Therapy is such an intimate practice, where both the client and therapist essentially kinda lay their souls bare (if you’re doing it right) and that fear of criticism or ridicule may prevent therapists from allowing third parties into the mix in any form. I get that. It is scary, however this is where I come in.
If we could mange this paradigm shift…….there would be pretty much unlimited resources and information shared, refined, improved and accessed by others, improving the credibility and the profile of of the industry as a powerful force!!!

I would like to knit the industry together, to help and collaborate with others on similar paths. To make it easier to succeed as a genuine force in the therapy world. And it begins here, today with me, you and ConfidenceCraft .

“I have spent the last 10 years building up a solid reputation and authority in my field. I am adamant that we can learn from both the teaching community, where best practice is celebrated, and the Scientific community, where any new hypothesis is submitted for the whole purpose of being peer critiqued- to test its robustness”
