We focus to bring underreported environmental, health, and gender-specific stories from the margins of India, primarily Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, and Uttar Pradesh. We believe climate change should be the basis of the current disclosure, and our stories attempt to reflect the same. In addition, our ground reporters focus on various thematic areas and intersectional issues of agriculture, labor, employment, poverty, etc. of the most vulnerable communities in India.

Through stories of the micro-level impact of climate change in the remotest part of India, Ground Report is the first news portal to work on individual-centric awareness interventions. That is to say, Ground Report focuses on individual issues and aims to initiate interventions through easy interventions. For example, water conservation through rainwater harvesting, organic farming, Using Renewable energy sources to tackle air pollution, saving forests and wildlife, etc.

The organization is a passionate and earnest attempt of the group of young journalists to bring back the glory of ground report journalism. We accept varied political opinions and promote citizen journalism.
