Our Story My Name is (Barbara Amina) Al-Ramadna. I studied electrical engineering. I worked as Maintenance Contract Manager in a computer company for ten years. After I gained enough experience in dealing with customers, the Jordanian market, companies environment an incident happened to me which led me to one of the herbal shops were I bought a bottle of Black seed oil. After reading about the benefits and wanting to buy more of this miraculous oil , I saw that many colors, tastes and versions were available. From my research I learned about the supposed color and taste of the oil. I didn’t find a genuine bottle of oil in the market. I decided to make this oil on my own and started my own business based on something I believe in and enjoy.

The business was started from my own savings. We started with one small machine, one small shop, and after a while one employee.

Our employees We currently have between 13 and 14 employees mostly females.

The beginning We started as an oil press established in 2004. With the intend of bringing pure and natural products to the market.

What we do Since this time we have grown. We also manufacture Steam Distilled Oils, Hydrosols, Seeds Paste like Tahini and Black Seed Paste. Sea Salts from the dead sea with herbal extracts for food, and Natural Soaps.

We also manufacture Gluten Free Flours like coconut and almond flour, maize, etc…

Recently we produced a new range of vegetable gelatin capsules filled with healthy oils like Nigella Sativa, Flax, and pumpkin seed oil.

How we produce We do not use Solvents, Chemicals, Preservatives, Animal Products and GMO seeds and plants. Our products are Gluten Free.

Who we supply Green fields Oils has grown to supply major malls, Hotel chains, health and herbal shops and pharmacies in Jordan. We also supply raw materials to manufacturing companies.

We currently export to USA, UK and Eastern Europe and Canada. Also to the Middle East.

Our impact on the community We raise an effort to use resources efficiently and support and use renewable power. We recycle our waste and use it in other projects.

We provide local and environmental support for local communities by buying raw material from farmers although it is more expensive. We benefit a cooperative society in Kufr Soom a village in the north of Jordan to supply us with pomegranate seed kernels, and bitter almond kernels, and Pomegranate molasses and vinegar. This society is made up of farmers and women of Kufr Soom and the surrounding areas. They make a living selling products related to Pomegranates planted and farmed by them. we also buy locally produced items from households in Ajloun and Mafraq like Pistacia Atlantica Seeds, Wild Pine Kernels, Rosemary and Mint. Which are collected by the local farmers and are usually family based farms.
